GROUP LEADER

Dr. Ruiqi Han (韩瑞琦)
Principal Investigator & Group Leader
Ruiqi Han is a principal investigator, assistant professor at Institute of Modern Biology (IMB) of Nanjing University. The group is interested in understanding how higher order 3D genomic architechtures are orgnized and their dynamic interactions with other cellular processes, such as transcription, replication, and DNA damage repair. The Han group develops new techniques like TArgeted Cohesin Loader (TACL) to actively shape the 3D genome via local recruitment of cohesin. The technique enables us to study the consequences of local structural changes.
